# Updating your user profile

Learn how to update your personal User Account details, including your name, email address, and profile picture. This guide also explains the file requirements for uploading a photo.

Your **User Account** contains your personal login credentials and details. It is important to keep this information accurate to ensure you receive system notifications and security alerts.

> **Info:** **Note:** Updating your personal profile does **not** change the contact information displayed to **Tour Operators and Agents** on your listing. To update the lodge or hotel contact details, please refer to the article **Changing Contact** I**nformation**.

## **How to update your details**

Follow these steps to edit your name, email, or profile picture:

1.  **Sign in** to the **Accommodation Platform**.
    
2.  Click the **Your Account** button in the top right corner of the screen.
    
3.  Ensure the **Personal Information** tab is selected.
    
4.  Update your **First Name**, **Last Name**, or **Email Address**.
    
5.  **Profile Picture:** You can personalize your account by adding a photo. Click **Upload** to select a file.   
    ◦ _Requirement:_ Images must be JPEG or PNG, at least 400×400 px, and under 5MB.
    
6.  Click **Save** to confirm your changes.
    

### **Changing your Login Email**

Your **Email Address** acts as your unique ID for signing in. You can update it directly in the **Personal Information** form shown above.

> **Info:** If you are handing over your duties to a colleague, it is often better to **invite** them as a new user rather than changing the email on your personal account. See the article **Inviting users to a listing** for details.
