# Changing Accommodation Type

Need to reclassify your property? Learn how to update your Accommodation Type (e.g., from Camp to Lodge) to ensure Tour Operators and Agents categorize your listing correctly.

The **Accommodation Type** (e.g., Lodge, Tented Camp, Hotel) is a primary filter used by **Tour Operators and Agents** to find properties that match their clients' preferences. Ensuring this is accurate helps the right partners find you.

## **How to update the property type**

1.  **Sign in** to your **User Account** and go to **Listings Overview**.
    
2.  Click the **Accommodation Name** of the property you wish to edit.
    
3.  Navigate to the **Property Profile** tab.
    
4.  Locate the **Accommodation Type** field.
    
5.  Select the correct category from the dropdown menu (e.g., **Tented Camp**, **Villa**, **Campsite**).
    
6.  Click **Save** to apply the changes.
    

> **Info:** If your property style has changed significantly (e.g., converting from a campsite to a permanent lodge), please also remember to update your description and photos to reflect this upgrade.
