How to Pay for Your SafariOffice Subscription Using Mobile Money

If you don't have a bank-issued Visa or Mastercard, you may still be able to pay for your SafariOffice subscription using a virtual visa card linked to your mobile money account.

This is especially useful for tour operators across East Africa who prefer using mobile payment services.

Kenya – Safaricom M-PESA GlobalPay Virtual Visa Card

Safaricom customers can use M-PESA GlobalPay, a virtual Visa card that lets you pay on any website or app that accepts Visa, including SafariOffice.

What you'll need

• A registered Safaricom M-PESA account

• The latest M-PESA App

• Sufficient funds in your M-PESA wallet

How to create your GlobalPay card

1. Open the My OneApp.

2. Scroll down to Do more with M-PESA

3. Tap Global Payments.

4. Choose M-pesa Visa Card(Globalpay)

5. Follow the prompts to create your virtual Visa card.

6. Fund your card directly from your M-PESA wallet.

Note: M-PESA GlobalPay is available through My OneApp (formerly Mpesa App). If you don't see it, make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

Tanzania – Vodacom M-Pesa Visa Virtual Card

Vodacom M-Pesa customers in Tanzania can also create a virtual Visa card for international online payments.

What you'll need

• A registered Vodacom M-Pesa account

• Sufficient funds in your M-Pesa wallet

Option 1: Using your simcard USSD

1. Dial *150*01#

2. Choose Huduma za kifedha

3. Select M-Pesa Visa Card

4. Choose Create Card

Option 2: Using the M-Pesa App

1. Open the M-Pesa App.

2. Go to Services.

3. Select Financial Services.

4. Choose Mpesa Visa Card

5. Fund it directly from your M-Pesa wallet.

Vodacom M-Pesa Card

Once created, you'll receive:

• 16-digit Visa card number

• Expiry date

• CVV security code

You can then use these details to pay for your SafariOffice subscription online.

If the card is not used for 6 months, it becomes dormant, but you can reactivate it through the M-PESA App. Also, if it expires, you can renew it and receive a new card number, expiry date, and CVV.
